Vandad is a practitioner as a foreign lawyer in Vancouver, where he consults on mainly domestic and international law. He is a National Committee of Accreditation student at UBC to obtain his qualification as a Canadian lawyer. He has been practicing for more than 14 years primarily as a litigator in a variety of legal issues in Corporate, international Business law and Construction law and Arbitration.
Vandad holds a law degree from University of Tehran where he was the recipient of the Presidential full scholarship. He was ranked ninth among over half a million national university entrance applicants. Vandad completed his articles with Dr. Shirin Ebadi, Nobel Peace Prize winner of 2005. He completed his LLM in international law and studied Construction law and Dispute Resolution at King’s College-London.
When not practicing law, Vandad enjoy playing the guitar, skiing and horseback riding in which he has been ranked third in competitions.
